Cultural Renaissance:
40 Years of the Albuquerque Museum
Celebrating The Museum's 40th birthday,
the exhibit traces its development from the
Albuquerque Historical Society Museum located in the
Sister Blandina School in 1961, to its founding as a city
museum at the Albuquerque Municipal Airport in 1967,
to its current location.

Imagenes de la Frontera,
Border Images, 1910-1916
Through August 2009
The Mexican Revolution is a story of complicated shifting
alliances for the Mexican participants. The U.S. was
interested in the stabilization of Mexico at the least,
and outright invasion and annexation at the most.
The 26 photographs in the exhibit depict prominent
characters as well as scenes from the conflict.
